A five year gap (following the release of ‘Invisible Touch) ended in 1991 the release of ‘We Can’t Dance’. It was to be the last Genesis studio album with Phil Collins. It is probably viewed by all serious Genesis devotees as far from a classic, but there are more than a few reminders of former glories thanks to tracks which go from the humorous (‘I Can’t Dance’) to the attempts at social comment (‘Tell Me Why’).
